Echezona Ezeanolue is the Vice-President for Innovation, HEALTHYSUNRISE FOUNDATION and Professor of Pediatrics and Child Health at the University of Nigeria, Nsukka. As an experienced clinician-epidemiologist, his research focuses on the use of implementation science to enhance the effectiveness and quality of maternal child health services. He developed the Baby Shower Congregational Framework to identify pregnant women and their male partners early in pregnancy allowing the implementation of feasible, acceptable, and sustainable interventions.
He has served as Principal Investigator on >25 peer reviewed funded projects including multiple NIH-funded grants (R01HD075050; R21TW010252; R01HD087994; R01HD089871; H12HA24832). Dr. Ezeanolue has been recognized as Nevada Public Health Leader of the Year (2007), Nevada Health Care Hero (2008), Outstanding Research Mentor (2009) and American Academy of Pediatrics Local Hero (2010) for his contributions to public health.
