Emefa Modey has a PhD in Public Health from the University of Ghana, Department of Population Family and Reproductive Health. She also holds a Master of Science (MSc) degree in International Health from the University of Leeds, Nuffield Centre for International Health and a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Psychology from the University of Ghana.
She has been involved in reproductive health research on Maternal and Child Health, Family Planning, Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights and cardiovascular diseases in pregnancy. She has played an instrumental role in building capacity for sexual and reproductive health research in low and middle income countries. She is particularly interested in identifying opportunities for improving access and utilization of reproductive health services in low resource settings.
