Karo Omodior (Ph.D., MPH) is an Assistant Professor at the Indiana University (IU) Bloomington School of Public Health. He is also an affiliate faculty of the IU Center for Global Health (CGH) and the African Studies Program (ASP). His research revolves around:
- Investigating the ecology of vector-borne diseases
- Enhancing the use of deep learning-enabled mobile Health devices in reducing health disparities
- Enhancing the use of citizen science approaches in the collection of high-quality disease surveillance data
- Global health, One health
Besides a focus on his primary research activities, Karo is actively engaged in professional activities that aim to enhance research productivity in underserved populations, Low- & Middle-Income Countries
