Implementation Science Scholars participate in a technical session during the 5th Nigerian Implementation Science Alliance conference in Abuja, Nigeria.
As part of the Central and West Africa Implementation Science Alliance (CAWISA)’s capacity-building activities, 12 CAWISA team members are participating in The Center for Implementation’s “Implementation, Spread and Scale” certification course, which began on the 1st of April, 2022 and will end on the 31st of July, 2022.
This course seeks to strengthen the implementation support strength of participants using practical case studies and participant projects. It aligns with CAWISA’s objective of providing context-specific implementation science knowledge for programmatic and research implementation across West and Central Africa. Some of the CAWISA Scholars participating in this course are: Dr. Babayemi Olakunde and Dr. Isaac Adedeji from Nigeria, Dr. Yvonne Nartey from Ghana, and Dr. Patrick Katoto from DR Congo.
